All are welcome to join Women United and Young Leaders United on Saturday, September 16th from 10am-noon for a 9/11 Day of Service at the Garfield Park Community Council Garden Project (4400 W Fulton)! Bring the whole family out to participate in a morning of gardening and beautification of the grounds to ensure access to fresh food for this community. A variety of projects will be available, including weeding, working with wood chips, and building benches.
All aged 10+ are welcome to join! Please bring any gardening tools you may have (i.e. rakes, trowels, gardening gloves). If you do not have gardening tools, they will be provided. Don’t miss this opportunity to network with other affinity group members while participating in an impactful day of service. Hope to see you there!
