April Food Day is United Way of Metro Chicago’s annual food collection event and awards luncheon that addresses food insecurity in the south-southwest suburbs, a region facing high levels of poverty and systemic education, health, and wealth inequities that were amplified by COVID-19.
Volunteers are needed to help sort non-perishable food items that will be distributed to local food pantries throughout the South Suburban Region!
All volunteers will be required to show proof of vaccination upon arrival and wear a facemask indoors.
