JOIN US for Gifts from Liam's 3rd year of service on MLK Day packaging diaper donations for distribution to communities in need! The diaper packaging event will take place at the Richton Park Community Center, located at 4445 Sauk Trail, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Stick around afterward to help load and transport packaged diapers.
The event is family-friendly, and volunteers can be anyone who can count to 25! If you are a minor attending this volunteer opportunity alone, please have a parent or guardian complete the signed waiver below.
Donating diapers to the cause (not required to participate in service):
1. You can bring your diaper donations to Richton Park or Park Forest Village Hall any day leading up to the event. Diaper sizes 4 and up are most needed. Open packages are welcome.
2. You can also bring your donations with the day of the event.
What You'll Do:
- Package diapers in bags of 25 and add educational information - our goal is to bundle 10,000 diapers!
- Bring diaper donations to the event or drop off beforehand- any size, any quantity, including open packages - sizes 4 and up are most needed.
- Snacks and/or light lunch will be provided.
- If you can stay after, help loading and transporting diaper packages is appreciated!
- If you can help transport diapers to the venue on xx, please reach out to hello@giftsfromliam.org to let us know.
