Who We Are

Chicago Commons’ mission is to empower individuals, families, and communities to overcome poverty and systemic barriers, embrace opportunities, and thrive across generations. To fulfill that mission, we provide high quality early childhood education, family services, and senior services to more than 3,500 individuals.

What We Do

To better support families in achieving their goals, Chicago Commons has adopted a multi-generational approach. For children, we provide the highest quality preschool programs because of their enormous potential to change the life trajectories of young children. For their families, our Family Hub empowers parents through workshops and individual coaching, strengthening families’ economic mobility, financial security, and health and well-being. For seniors and adults with disabilities, our services help people stay in their homes, maintaining their independence and quality of life.
