The Leader Luncheon is a signature event of the YWCA Elgin, held annually to honor deserving women for their outstanding accomplishments as well as raise funds to support the work of the organization. The funds raised by Leader Luncheon are used to develop and expand programming and advocacies for women and families with a clear commitment to the elimination of racism and the empowerment of women. New to this year, the YWCA Elgin has appointed Jennifer Rakow, IHC Construction Companies LLC's Director of Human Resources, as the 2022 Leader Luncheon Honorary Chair.
NOMINATIONS
YWCA Elgin is now accepting nominations for outstanding leaders who exemplify the mission of the YWCA, eliminating racism and empowering women. The deadline for award nominations is midnight on March 3rd.
The Leader Luncheon awards honor eight individuals who strive to make a difference in their community in the categories of Arts, Business & Professions, Communication & Technology, Education, Public Service, Racial Justice, and Volunteer & Community Service.
